A Blanc offers a unique setting for businesses. The premises of the building, designed by Alvar Aalto, were renovated into versatile retail and office spaces, respecting the historic value of the building. Two retail premises on the first floor and an office space on the second floor of the building are still available for lease.

In front A Blanc, Alvarinaukio spreads out with its grass fields and the lime tree alley leading to the Undergraduate Centre. Aalto University's main building, Dipoli, is located just behind the centre. Buses and, in the future, Jokeri Light Rail run in front of A Blanc, and the Aalto University metro station is just a couple minutes’ walk away.

The renovation began in March 2020 and was completed in May 2021. The building was renovated to serve diverse business operations and the building services technology was renewed. At the same time, a large terrace area with customer seats was created in front of the centre. The facade was also renovated and restored.
