ARENA filled up Töölö campus
ARENA, the largest recruitment event for students of business in Finland, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
ARENA began at the initiative of students in 1992, during recession, when it was difficult to find employment. Salla Vainio, who now works as CEO of Fondia, was in charge of the first fair as a student of Helsinki School of Economics and leader of the recruitment services. The first fair was a success and became a tradition that supports students in their search for work. Salla Vainio was chosen Alumna of the Year of the School of Business this autumn.

Fair organised by Aalto University and Hanken
At the ARENA event, students have the opportunity to meet more than 50 potential employers, including a large number of important companies ranging from VR to the clothing chain H&M.
The event provides an opportunity for students to find out about different career choices and employers. Students also have the possibility to polish their job applications and LinkedIn profiles with an HR specialist.
The fair is organised in cooperation by Aalto University and Hanken School of Economics. The event is aimed especially at students of the School of Business and students of Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University, and at students of Hanken School of Economics.
The Fair Programme and the introductions of the employers are available to read on the ARENA website. You can also familiarise yourself with the employers on the ARENA Facebook page, where the ARENA-On-Line virtual fair has already started.
