Keynote speech topic: Exploration of surface-active oxygen species and metal-support interaction in VOCs oxidation catalysts
Ye Daiqi

Ye Daiqi, professor in the School of Environment and Energy at South China University of Technology, and director of the National Engineering Laboratory for the Treatment Technology and Equipment of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). He also serves as the executive director of the China Environmental Science Society, executive vice chairman and secretary general of the VOCs Control Committee of the China Environmental Science Society, and chairman of the Energy and Environment Branch of the China Environmental Science Society. He is mainly engaged in research on VOCs emission control policies, VOCs emission characteristics, emission inventories and their reaction activity, research and development of VOCs, automobile exhaust, and indoor air pollution control technologies, as well as research on catalytic purification technologies for VOCs, CO2 resource utilization technologies, catalytic reduction technologies for nitrogen and oxygen oxides in flue gas, catalytic purification technologies for automobile exhaust and gaseous pollutants. He has published more than 300 papers in major domestic and international academic journals, including over 250 papers in international journals such as Appl. Catal. B, Chem. Eng. J., Catal. Sci. Technol., Environ. Sci. Technol., and has been granted 98 patents. He has undertaken 62 national and provincial-level scientific research projects, including 6 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, 2 projects under the National "863 Program," 1 project under the National Environmental Protection Public Welfare Project, and 1 project under the National Key R&D Program. He has also led or participated in the formulation of 11 standards (including 2 national standards, 5 industry standards, and 4 local standards). He has received awards such as the Outstanding Chinese Patent Award, the first prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment Science and Technology Award, and the second prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award.
