Yun Hu

Prof. Yun Hu is the Vice Dean of the School of Environment and Energy at South China University of Technology, and Deputy Director of the National Engineering Laboratory of VOCs Pollution Control Technology and Equipment, China. She obtained her PhD in Applied Chemistry in 2006 from Osaka Prefecture University, Japan. She has been the principal investigator for over 20 projects, including National Key R&D Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science and Technology Project of Guangdong Province, and Scientific Research Project of Guangzhou City. Her research interests focus on the development of environmental functional materials for water/air pollution control and clean energy conversion. She has published more than 130 peer-reviewed papers, including Environ. Sci. Technol, Appl. Catal. B: Environ, etc. She also has 31 patents granted, and 3 transferred.
