The biggest alumni event of the School of Business - Homecoming Day - is organized usually every second year. The previous Homecoming Day was organized on 27 January 2023. The School of Business Alumnus/a of the Year will also be announced at the Homecoming Day.

School of Business celebrated its 16th Ceremonial Conferment of Doctorates and Master’s Degrees at the old Main Building, currently known as Aalto Töölö, in Runeberginkatu, Helsinki. The Ceremonial Conferment was from May 12 to 14, 2022. The ceremony in 2022 conferred master's degrees on new alumni (promovendi) with graduation dates between 19 March, 2016 and 31 March, 2022 and doctorates on alumni with graduation dates between 29 April, 2016 and 30 April, 2022. In addition to these young promovendi, jubilee masters and doctors from 1971 and the new honorary doctors of the School of Business were conferred at the ceremony.
The Ceremonial Conferment of Aalto University School of Business was held at Aalto Töölö, in Runeberginkatu, Helsinki, from May 12 to 14, 2022.

Better Business — Better Society seminar seriesoffers opportunities to learn about current societally important topics at the School of Business. We invite our collaborators, supporters and alumni to the seminar at the School, and everyone else interested in the topic to follow the live stream via Youtube. The seminars are arranged monthly, generally on the first Thursday of the month, excluding holiday seasons. The seminars are held either in Finnish or English. The seminar speakers are professors from our School and guests from the business sector.

Jaakko Honko lecture is organized every second year. The next Jaakko Honko lecture will be organized on 21 September 2023. Invitations to the School of Business alumni who are in the alumni register will be sent in the end of summer 2023.

With the coronavirus pandemic still impacting our lives in different areas, Aalto created an opportunity to know future perspectives through its alumni community's lenses.
After Aalto University President Ilkka Niemelä's greetings, Alumni Studio featured three Aalto alumni discussing sustainable development and the most pressing global challenges of our time. The event was concluded with an entertaining science show where Aalto's top researchers stepped into the limelight to explain why their research is important right now.
