Technical services at the School of Science
The School of Science Technical Services support research and teaching.
Over thirty professionals from different fields work in the Technical Services of the School of Science. The departments of our school employ quite different technologies in their research. Thus, also our Technical Services personnel do rather many different kinds of work. We collaborate closely over school, department and service function boundaries.
Our Technical Services professionals can assist you in questions such as:
- Support for research and teaching in various technical questions
- Use and development of laboratories and research infrastructures and their equipment
- Scientific computing
- Development, maintenance and support of specialized IT systems for education and research
- Procurement and ordering of technical equipment and supplies
- Occupational safety.
