Programme Attractiveness is one of Aalto University's four joint strategic development actions in the field of learning. The initiative was launched in 2016 and it will last until 2020.
The goal of the Programme Attractiveness initiative is to enhance the attractiveness of Aalto University's degree programmes. During the project, concrete tools are created and developed to help the degree programme managagement to monitor the performance, evaluate the content and to enhance the quality of the programme. The initiative aims to learn what makes our programmes attractive and helps the programmes by piloting and developing tools for student recruitment, marketing and admissions. The programmes are also encouraged to collaborate and to share best practices in order to become and stay attractive.
The project organization consists of a core team and two working groups. One of the working groups focuses on the content and quality of Aalto University's degree programmes and the other one focuses on issues related to student recruitment, marketing and admissions. Each School has a representative in the core team and in one of the working groups. Members of the two working groups also include specialists from Aalto's service units.
