Study and career counselling psychologist services for doctoral students
If these sorts of questions sound familiar, you can find a good discussion partner by visiting a study and career counselling psychologist. See below for details on how and when you can contact us.
Services available from Aalto study and career counselling psychologists
We offer support and consultation related to studies, studying practices, self-directedness, motivation, academic well-being and career choices.
You can contact us when you feel like you’re lacking motivation or time-management skills, having trouble getting things accomplished, feeling stress or anxiety about your thesis or like you may not be able to keep up, or if you’re looking for the way of studying that suits you best.
If you are facing mental-health or general health-related issues, you should contact occupational health (if you are an employee) or the health centre in your home municipality. Below you can find information on how to get in touch with these services. (Please note: doctoral students are not entitled to use the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS).)
