Common Microsoft 365 apps used in Aalto University include an Accessibility Checker that finds accessibility problems and lists suggestions. Also, you can find specific tips for making your content accessible to all users.

  2. Enable proofreading and accessibility checker
  3. Convert in accessible HTML, PDF/A or PowerPoint file
  4. Publish your accessible file

The Accessibility Checker is available in the following apps: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS OneNote.

Instructions for creating a PDF/A-compliant file using Word (Windows and Mac) or LaTeX. The LaTeX template results directly in a PDF/A-2b file whereas creating a PDF/A-2a file with Word is done in two stages, requiring the use of PDF-XChange in the latter stage.
