DayTripster app

DayTripster is an award-winning Finnish mobile application that combines value rich travel guides with ease of use and fun technology. The application includes content in Finnish, English, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. Aalto University campus locations are featured in the following thematic tours: 

Smart Otaniemi tour was created in collaboration with VTT Technical Research Institute of Finland and features Väre building (School of Arts, Design and Architecture) , ST1 geothermal heating facility, Micronova and Aalto Startup Center. More information on Smart Otaniemi here. 

Science, Art and Technology in Espoo tour was created in collaboration with Visit Espoo and Enter Espoo features Dipoli, Väre, Design Factory, Startup Sauna, Harald Herlin Learning Center, Undergradute Center, A Grid, ST1 geothermal heating facility, Aalto Shop and A Bloc. 

To use the audio commentary, download DayTripster application from Apple store or from Google Play store, choose Finland, then Espoo and then one of the mentioned tours. Note that some of the content may be out of date as it is not managed by Aalto University.
