Looking back at the Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees in Technology 2024
The ceremonial conferment of the Schools of Technology at Aalto University took place on Friday 14 June 2024 at Dipoli and it celebrated the doctors who graduated between 1 May 2023 and 30 April 2024. The most prestigious of the academic events was hosted by the School of Engineering.
Honorary Doctors in Technology 2024
Aalto University declared five new Honorary Doctors of Science in Technology:
- President and Chief Executive Officer Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko, Marimekko
- Chief Technology Officer Petteri Alinikula, SAAB Finland
- Professor Ashok Kumar, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
- Professor Cecilia Tortajada, University of Glasgow
- Professor Marjo Yliperttula, University of Helsinki
