Anssi Ahonen works as a Lecturer in Digital design at the Department of Design. Much of his time is spent on teaching various digital design tools & processes to the MA and BA students in different design programs. In addition to digital design, he focuses on teaching concept design & theory. The area of digital design is constantly evolving, so he together with the other staff is developing Aalto’s Design teaching to fully utilize and explore the medium. Anssi feels that all the tools and processes should both inspire and enable the designer – after all, digital design should lead to better design!
