Aalto Thesis Day 2024- networking event for international Master's students

Are you an international student planning to do your Master's thesis during this academic year? Do you already have some idea about the thesis topic or an interesting research area that could be implemented to the world of business? Come to talk with companies interested in thesis collaboration in the Aalto Thesis Day 2024, and see if your research idea resonates with what they are looking for! This is also a great opportunity for you to practice pitching yourself and to network with company representatives from different industries operating in Finland. What: Aalto Thesis Day 2024 - Networking event especially for second-year international students to find Master's thesis opportunities with companies operating in Finland

When: Wednesday 2nd of October 2024 at 12:30 - 16:00

Where: Computer Science Building, Konemiehentie 2, Otaniemi campus

For whom: International Master's students of Aalto University, who are planning to do their Master's thesis during the ongoing academic year 2024-2025

Master’s thesis is a gateway to the Finnish working life: international students who do their thesis in collaboration with a company or research organization are more likely to find a job in Finland after graduation. In Aalto Thesis Day 2024, you get to meet companies that are looking for thesis workers in English. The list of companies are regularly updated on the event page in Aalto JobTeaser, where student registration also takes place.

12.30 - 13.45 EIT Master Programs Track in Learning Hub Greenhouse.

Please note that this event is mainly targeted for second-year master's students who can do their thesis in the academic year 2024-2025. Due to space limitations, priority may be given to second-year year master's students if the event gets full.
