Aalto University alumni get-togethers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in November

We welcome Aalto alumni to join Dean Timo Korkeamäki from Aalto University School of Business for a special get-together with Aalto's alumni community in Hanoi, on Friday, November 8th and in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, November 11th. 

We have previously organized similar events in London, New York City and Seoul, among other places, but this will be the first time in Vietnam. The program of the events include a speech by the Finnish Ambassador to Vietnam, short presentations and greetings from Aalto University, an alumni keynote speech, as well as time to mingle and share experiences with fellow alumni. 

The event in Hanoi will be held in conjunction with an Alumni Networking Evening for 13 Finnish Higher Education Institutions organized by the Finnish National Agency for Education.

Hanoi, November 8th

• Aalto University alumni get-together at 5:00-6:00 PM
• Alumni Networking Evening for all Finnish HEI’s starting at 6:00 PM

• Speech by H.E. Ambassador Keijo Norvanto
• Update on Aalto University by Dean Timo Korkeamäki
• Short update on Aalto alumni activities by Head of External Relations Jonna Söderholm
• Short update on Aalto University Executive Education by Business Development Manager Rayshmar Janani
• Alumni keynote speech on “How Aalto Has Influenced My Career Journey” by Ms. Hang Le, Data Analyst, Synodus
• Starting from 6:00 PM: Alumni Networking Evening with other Finnish HEI’s and representatives of Study in Finland, Business Finland, and the Team Finland Knowledge Network

• Mingling with fellow alumni and Aalto representatives over canapés

• Alumni keynote speech on "Navigate career journey in Finland and Vietnam - my personal story" by Ms. Sarah Nguyen, Marketing & Growth Director, Shopee
• Mingling continues
