E-resource platform changes: MyiLibrary and Wiley

MyiLibrary e-book migration to Ebook Central begins 21.3.2018: Patron Bookshelves Need to be Re-Created

All of Aalto University’s MyiLibrary owned titles will be moved to our Ebook Central account. After March 21st you will no longer be able to access books on the MyiLibrary platform.

Patron bookshelves will not be migrated. Before your title migration, print your bookshelf list if you want to rebuild it quickly on Ebook Central.

The change will require the action of those users who have created a MyiLibrary bookshelf or used other features such as notes, bookmarks, or highlighting colors. Patrons who used the bookmarking and highlighting features on MyiLibrary will lose those indications in their e-books after the title migration. However, notes can be preserved using these instructions: ”Saving Your MyiLibrary Notes before the Ebook Central Upgrade

Wiley Online Library is migrating to a new platform powered by Atypon

Wiley Online Library is migrating to a new platform powered by Atypon. Wiley’s focus is to provide a seamless transition in March 2018. A more accurate time will be announced when it is known. Redirects will be put in place for all current URLs, to their new counterparts, but users are encouraged to update all bookmarks and links after the migration to avoid any interruption of access.

Note if you have used individual user search settings: Saved search alerts and article “favourites” will not be migrated. Users eTOC and citation alert settings will be migrated to the new platform.
