Master's Programme in Computer, Communication and Information Sciences

Double degree options in CCIS programme

Double degree students study their first study year (60 ECTS courses) at Aalto University and move to the partner university for their second year of studies (30 ECTS courses + thesis 30 ECTS). They graduate from both Aalto and partner university, and receive two master’s degrees and certificates, one from both universities.

The language of studies is English.

Students admitted in master’s admissions can apply to double degree programme during their first year in CCIS master's studies. Aalto BSc graduates can apply to the double degree programme when they meet the programme eligibility criteria (60 ECTS master’s studies completed by 31 June of the application year, see more detailed info below).

Students subject to the tuition fee will pay Aalto University tuition fee also for their second study year in the double degree partner university. Aalto University scholarship is valid also during the second study year at the partner university (students with 100 % scholarship do not need to pay the tuition fee, students with 50% scholarship will pay 50% Aalto tuition fee.)

Students who are chosen to the double degree programme may apply for Erasmus+-scholarship for their studies in the partner university.
