EY has been an active partner of the School of Business for a long period of time. The natural follow-up was joining the Premium Partner program in 2002. Over the years EY has participated in the school’s life in many ways – bringing visiting lecturers and interesting cases to classes and offering other projects for students to solve, showcasing their career possibilities in fairs and other events and helping students develop their job hunting skills in trainings etc.
Lately EY-Parthenon has also collaborated with us – they have participated in a Capstone course and in Customized Student Business Project. Markus Paunu, who has been involved in co-operation in many ways, from the EY-Parthenon says: “In my opinion, the cooperation with the School of Business has been a good way to catch up with the students' thoughts on what they would like from their potential future employers. In addition, we have been able to provide students with information and practical examples of our work through collaborating with various courses as well as student projects. One of the things I missed during my studies was just working more closely with companies. I have therefore been pleased that the students have welcomed us to courses and student projects, and I hope that we have been able to provide students with information and perspectives on our work and on the EY and the EY-Parthenon as a transition to employment.”
EY has many different business units, and many of them have been involved in the cooperation in various ways. The collaboration has been very close-knit especially among auditing and one of the most recent projects aimed to rise awareness of the modern auditing as a career.
