Cloud Storage for Files

Aalto University supports three cloud storage options for university students and staff. OneDrive is the recommended one but the others are available as well. Please check the data security recommendations before using them.

OneDrive for Business and Google Drive offer online storage space for collaboration. These services also offer the possibility to share and modify files, for example directly from the browser.

Aalto Dropbox: Quick guide

Aalto Dropbox is a cloud storage and collaboration platform available for Aalto employees. Aalto Dropbox suits well especially those who use Dropbox within research groups or collaborate externally already with Dropbox. Additionally, if you’re already using Dropbox for your work and with your aalto.fi email address, by joining Aalto Dropbox you’ll get all the benefits from Dropbox Business and won’t have to pay for the features individually.
