‘Donations are important for the university in an increasingly tight economic climate. Every euro donated helps Aalto to succeed and develop. This autumn, we will launch a fundraising campaign covering all disciplines at the university. We will also continue to support students who have fled Ukraine. In addition to the free study rights, students also need financial support for their daily lives in a foreign country where they have no support networks.
The value of your donation is particularly high right now, as the university will add an additional 20 percent as matching to all donations made in 2024. Thank you to all current and future donors – together we are stronger.’
Did you know that your donations to Aalto University are tax-deductible? You can deduct monetary donations totalling 850 euros or more during the calendar year. This means that you can make your donation in several installments.
The maximum tax-deductible donation is 500,000 euros for private individuals and 250,000 euros for companies and organisations per year.
We welcome donations from all over the world and are expanding possibilities for tax-free donations from various countries. Please check the latest situation from the Aalto Donor Engagement team: [email protected].
